Job summary

Martin Produce Inc. is seeking an Overnight Loader to prepare outgoing shipments and load trucks and containers. This full-time role reports to the Night Shift Lead in Warehouse 2 and pays $19.00-$21.00 per hour.

You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, ensure loads are secure, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma required; attention to detail essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to operate electric/manual pallet jack and forklift.
• Experience in cross docking freight process preferred.
• Must work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Load orders from loading dock onto container with material handling equipment.
• Prepare loads by centralizing weight on container.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Conduct operations in manner that promotes safety.
• Ensure products are secured and free of damage.
• Responsible for completeness and correctness of all route stops loaded.
• Repack any boxes as required.
• Meet company standard productivity.
• Must work as a team player as well as independently.
• Secure freight inside trailer.
• Spotting of trailers to maintain efficient yard organization.
• Other duties as needed.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is preparing outgoing shipments and load trucks, trailers, and shipping containers in a manner that meets company standards for safety, accuracy, and productivity.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
