PetVet Care Centers Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialists - Bohemia is seeking Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our dedicated team in Bohemia, NY. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, compassionate service, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,500 based on experience, with a schedule Monday through Saturday from 7PM to 7AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• Emergency experience required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations and reviewing care plans and records.
• Care for patients by taking vital signs, collecting samples, administering medications, drugs, and vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist during examinations and surgeries by preparing supplies and restraining patients as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient conditions and treatments.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care instructions.
