Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• Must have emergency experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by assessing animal requirements and performing examinations.
• Assist during surgeries and procedures and maintain accurate medical records.
• Care for patients by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, vaccines, and wound care.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and treatment plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of instruments and examination rooms.
• Manage inventory and assist with supply ordering as needed.
