Job summary

College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our overnight/AM shift in the Nursing Department. You will provide safe patient care under RN supervision and follow established policies to support a healing environment.

Expect to collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans, with new grads welcome and fingerprint clearance required. The posting notes potential additional compensation through shift differential or other pay practices.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in good standing.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Minimum 6 months of psychiatric experience.
• CPI Certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Observe, record, and report changes in patients’ conditions promptly and accurately.
• Monitor safety within the therapeutic milieu and assist in managing crises, including assaultive patients.
• Assist in admission processes, data collection, and orient new patients to unit and program.
• Document patient interactions and responses to interventions in medical records.
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans.

Job Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure
• New Grads are welcome to apply
• A Level One Fingerprint Card is required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider card
• Minimum 6 months of psychiatric experience required
• CPI Certification required within 30 days of hire
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting preferred

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices.
