Job summary

Avera Health is seeking an Overnight Lead | Housekeeper for night shift in Sioux Falls. The role offers hourly pay from $18.00 to $22.00 depending on experience, with night pay perks and a $500 SOB for eligible staff.

Hours are Monday–Friday 10:00pm–6:30am, 80 hours per two weeks, with every other weekend and holidays required. The position involves maintaining a clean environment across patient rooms, common areas, and facilities, acting as a resource to staff when leadership is unavailable,

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean/neat environment in assigned areas including patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
• Participates in all cleaning activities such as dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, moving furniture, and trash removal.
• Keeps assigned area stocked with supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
• Manages stock on cleaning carts with wet and dry supplies.
• Maintains good customer relations with staff and departments.
• Manages workload and delegates tasks to other staff as needed.
• Serves as a resource to staff when leadership is unavailable.
