Pride Health is hiring an Overnight Lab Assistant to support a medical facility in Miramar, FL. The 3-4 month assignment offers a path to extension or Temp-Hire for the right candidate.

You will receive and sort clinical specimens, prepare samples for testing, perform basic maintenance, and ensure a safe, compliant lab environment. A high school diploma is required; medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pride Health is hiring a Overnight Lab Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Miramar, FL 33025. This is a 3-4 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Title: Overnight Lab Assistant

Location: Miramar, FL 33025

Pay Range: 18-19/hr. on W2

Schedule: M-F 9 PM-5:30 AM EST

Duration: 03-04 months with possible extensions/Temp-Hire

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
