Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring for a Maintenance Generalist at the Madison Plant on B & C shift overnights. You will keep machinery running, repair and maintain industrial equipment, troubleshoot issues, and set up/break down production line machinery.

The role requires reading manuals, climbing, lifting up to 61 lbs, and working weekends/holidays with overtime. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is paid in milestones.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience (minimum 6 months)
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor systems
• Willingness to read manuals and follow safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Repair and maintain operating conditions of machinery and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems in day-to-day plant operation.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery.
• Complete daily documentation; lift up to 61 lbs; work in varied environments.
