Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance across production equipment. The role requires setting up and adjusting machines according to schedules and manuals to ensure optimal performance throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include inspecting machinery, replacing parts, lubricating components, and completing work orders with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred in mechanics/electrical technology.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge and technical aptitude.
• Experience with PLCs and control systems is a plus.
• Good safety, attendance and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and machines for optimal production performance.
• Adjust machines per maintenance schedules and manuals.
• Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to detect faults.
• Replace parts to restore operation and perform PMs.
• Operate and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic components safely.
• Complete maintenance work orders promptly and accurately.
• Follow safety guidelines at all times and support team goals.
