Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support GM operations. You will ensure product is in stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor, delivering a guest-first experience. The role involves flexible hours, lifting up to 44 pounds, and collaborating with team members to meet sales goals.

The position offers structured training, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities to develop retail and operational skills as part of Target’s General Merchandise team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft; initiate a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Sort, stock, and organize merchandise on the sales floor; maintain product availability.
• Operate powered equipment if certified and unload freight.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate safety and ethical conduct; follow policies and training.
• Support guest services like back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive Up.
• All other duties based on business needs.
