Job summary

Target is hiring an Inbound Expert to support General Merchandise operations on the sales floor. You will sort, stock, and maintain product availability, while operating equipment to unload freight and handle defective items in a compliant manner.

You will also back up cashier duties and drive-up services, greet guests, and solve their needs with a friendly, hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and guest-first culture.
• Experience with department sales trends, inventory management, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the salesfloor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle ESIM items in compliance with laws.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely; follow safety policies and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up, and Drive up while ensuring compliance with laws.
• Greet guests and assist with their needs.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and thank them for shopping Target.
• All other duties based on business needs
