Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to lead specialized care for adult ICU and medicine stepdown patients at Vanderbilt University Hospital. You will participate in interdisciplinary rounds, optimize antimicrobial stewardship, and resolve medication‑related problems to ensure safe, cost‑effective therapy.

The role requires a Tennessee Pharmacist license, PharmD or equivalent, and 1 year of clinical experience; PGY2 in critical care preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in Tennessee and in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews drug orders to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective use of medications.
• Provides patient care by optimizing medication preparation and resolving therapy problems.
• Maintains quality, safety, and consistency of clinical pharmacy services.
• Supervises activities of assigned support personnel and verifies accuracy of medications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
