Allied Universal in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Security Officer for the overnight hotel patrol. This full-time, unarmed role focuses on guest and staff safety, access control, and courteous service at a resort-style hotel. You will patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and maintain clear communication with site leadership.

The position requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and passing background checks and drug screening where allowed. State licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following security procedures.
• Respond to guest concerns and incidents in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the resort buildings, guest areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily logs per site requirements.
