Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time overnight shifts at a hospital in Escondido, CA. You will patrol healthcare facilities, interact with patients and staff, respond to incidents, and maintain access control while following safety procedures.

Position type is Full Time with a schedule including nights and weekends. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue and meet minimum requirements listed by the employer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site personnel regarding incidents and observations.
