Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time overnight shifts at a hospital in Escondido, CA. You will patrol healthcare facilities, interact with patients and staff, respond to incidents, and maintain access control while following safety procedures.

Position type is Full Time with a schedule including nights and weekends. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue and meet minimum requirements listed by the employer.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site personnel regarding incidents and observations.

As a Security Officer Full TimeOvernight Hospital in Escondido, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Hospital Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You may assist with sensitive situations, including restricted areas and individuals requiring intervention, while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM Sun 10:30 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
