Job summary

Pinnacle Technology in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacist for a unique night shift role as the sole pharmacist in the hospital, with CPhT support at night. The position runs 7-days on/7-days off, Thursday night to Thursday morning, with on-week hours of 2000–0730 and 1130–0600 coverage.

The role provides pharmaceutical care, medication monitoring, drug information, and adherence to FMC policies. Pharmacist licensure in Ohio is mandatory, with hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing.
• Hospital pharmacy experience required; 1 year preferred.
• Education: BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and dispense medication orders accurately.
• Monitor patient therapy for safety and effectiveness.
• Communicate drug information to patients and care teams.
• Maintain policies and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day technician activities and respond to emergencies.
