Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking an RN to provide compassionate one-on-one adult homecare nursing in the Springfield, MA area, focusing on overnight shifts. You will monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care in collaboration with clinical staff.

This position offers flexible scheduling, opportunities for skills training (G‑Tube, Trach, Vent), and weekly pay. New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior homecare experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility requirements).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• Homecare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Perform focused assessments to identify patient needs.
• Monitor and document physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret patient data to support nursing care.
• Provide compassionate one-on-one nursing care in the home setting.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Perform other RN duties as assigned.
