Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Deadwood, SD is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for 24-32 hours per week on overnights (8:00 PM–8:00 AM). You will help seniors remain safe and comfortable at home with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship.

We offer competitive pay at $17–$20 per hour with an overnight differential, 401k, sick and holiday pay, health insurance, and opportunities to grow through online training and CEUs. Set your own schedule with part-time options.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid South Dakota driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
