Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Deadwood, SD seeks an Overnight Caregiver for two to three overnight shifts per week (8:00 PM–8:00 AM). You will provide in-home care to seniors, assisting with daily activities, meals, and companionship, while maintaining safety and comfort in their own homes.

Training and support are provided. Earn $17.00–$20.00 per hour with an overnight differential of $1.50/hr, plus benefits such as sick pay, holiday pay, health insurance, and a 401k.

Qualifications

• Valid South Dakota driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
• Compassionate, helpful nature and strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and provide safe, in-home care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Create a safe home environment and engage clients in activities to bring joy.
