Job summary

The Garden City Hotel in Garden City, NY is seeking an Overnight Guest Service Agent (on-call) to join our front desk team. You will check guests in and out courteously, process payments and provide information and assistance.

This part-time, on-call role requires overnight availability, weekend shifts, and strong customer service, communication and computer skills. Hotel experience is preferred, and the position offers the chance to contribute to a luxury hospitality experience at our renowned

Responsibilities

• Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently.
• Process payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all guest requests for reservations, changes, cancellations and information.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls efficiently.
• Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms.
• Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of hotel services; drive/park/retrieve vehicles as needed.

We currently have a career opportunity available for an experienced

Overnight Guest Service Agent (on-call).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently;
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide information and assistance to all guests and visitors.
• Provide prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all guest requests for guest room reservations, changes, cancellations and information.
• Provides prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all incoming calls and assistance for outgoing calls,
• Transport guest luggage to/from guest rooms.
• Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all hotel services and features and drive, park and retrieve guest/visitor vehicles as they arrive and depart from the hotel.
• This is a part time, on-call position that requires flexibility with scheduling including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays
• Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills are required
