Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to provide overnight support by receiving and preparing product, stocking shelves, and maintaining back stock in line with company standards.

You will deliver courteous, friendly service to customers and Team Members, follow Health and Safety rules, handle late deliveries, and assist in opening, midday, and closing duties as needed. No prior retail experience is required, and Whole Benefits including store discounts and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours per shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures; time management.

Responsibilities

• Checks product to ensure it meets WFM quality standards.
• Accurately sorts and scans waste.
• Maintains production standards.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Handles DC and UNFI invoices for product delivered outside store receiving hours.
• Reports miss-picks to team leadership.
• Receives product from receiving location to sales floor or back stock.
• Assists in receiving and sorting overnight deliveries for other teams.
• Arrives on time and ready to work; participates in required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, and models suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
