Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members to support overnight receiving and product preparation. Responsibilities include maintaining floor, displays, and back stock, while upholding health and safety standards and company procedures.

You will assist with receiving, merchandising, and customer service, contributing to a positive store image. New entry level Team Members can work full or part-time schedules, with wage range $16.00-$25.40 hourly and Whole Benefits included.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from below freezing to above 90 degrees Fahrenheit.

Responsibilities

• Checks product to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Accurately sorts and scans waste.
• Maintains production standards.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and food preparation areas.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Receives product from receiving location to sales floor or back stock.
• Aids in receiving and sorting overnight deliveries for other teams.
• Provides excellent customer service and answers phones politely.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, and merchandising.
• Follows safety, health, and sanitation procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
