Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to provide a fresh, welcoming shopping experience in our Fresh departments. You will build positive connections with customers and teammates and help keep displays stocked and visually appealing.

This role offers weekly pay, opportunities to learn store technology, and a friendly team environment. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
