Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to help create a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments. You will connect with customers, share product knowledge, and ensure displays are full and inviting.

The role emphasizes stock, rotation, and merchandising to standards, using store technology, and following safety procedures across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful, but not required.

• Able to learn store technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing displays.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Fresh categories.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
• Every shift, help keep our store running smoothly and customers returning.
