Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to join our Fresh departments, helping create a welcoming, well‑run store and ensuring shelves are stocked and merchandised with care.

You'll build positive connections with customers and teammates, share product knowledge, and maintain accurate displays while following food safety standards. This role requires physical activity in a fast-paced retail environment across multiple departments and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
