Job Description

To reconcile the business of the day and ensure a smooth efficient operation of the front desk during the 3rd shift.

Responsibilities
  1. Process guest check-ins and check-outs according to Omni’s Moments of Service and Standard Operating Procedures. Where applicable, ensure process meets Forbes Service Standards.
  2. Accurate preparation of VIP, complimentary, house use rooms, and out of order lists.
  3. Conduct back up procedures for Epitome and drop tape nightly.
  4. Balancing of daily postings and revenue.
  5. Ensure adequate communication the following morning to all necessary departments by communicating through “Wrap-Up” emails.
  6. Documenting errors made by cash handling auditors.
  7. Prepare In-house allowance and adjustment spreadsheets each day.
  8. Prepare and send out the DAR to appropriate team members.
  9. Balancing of daily posting and revenue, and resolution of inaccuracies.
  10. Ensuring nightly transmission of credit cards through IPU and Epitome.
  11. Be familiar with all hotel rate plans and rate codes, understanding rate strategy when making rate changes for guests.
  12. Deliver personalized, memorable guest experiences by utilizing the Power of One.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
  2. Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems.
  3. Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations.
  4. Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
  5. Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
  6. Ability to work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
  7. Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
  8. Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift.
  9. Previous customer service experience.
  10. Previous hotel front desk experience is strongly preferred.
  11. Previous cashiering experience is preferred.
