Molnlycke, a medical device manufacturer in Wiscasset, ME, is seeking full-time Foam Production Technicians for the Night Shift (5:30PM - 5:30AM) to support our manufacturing of healthcare products worldwide. We are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and work well in a team-based environment.

What we offer:

  • Entry-level position with comprehensive, on-the-job paid training
  • Rotating schedule: 3 days on, 4 days off, then 4 days on, 3 days off
  • Work hours: 5:30PM - 5:30AM
  • Workdays and hours may vary depending on operational needs; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
  • Starting wage: $21.12 per hour
  • $2.00 shift differential between 5:30PM to 5:30AM
  • PAID BREAKS!!!!

Here's a snapshot of what you'll do:

Perform quality control testing and inspection on foam products, record data in a computerized database, operate machinery on a production line used to manufacture hydrophilic polyurethane foams, and package finished goods. Continuously improve workflow and production output through monitoring and analysis of manufacturing processes. Collaborate with team members to achieve maximum quality and quantity of foam manufactured safely and efficiently.

What you'll need:

  • Pre-employment physical, background check, and at least 2 professional references
  • Proven success working in a team environment and ability to meet performance measures with minimal supervision
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Basic mechanical, mathematical, and computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Ability to work overtime to meet production goals
  • Over 75% of workdays spent walking or standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Regular handling, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, and grasping
  • Close and color vision required
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Experience in production or manufacturing preferred, but not required.

PLEASE NOTE: This position involves working around or near equipment that may be hazardous to individuals with pacemaker equipment.
