Job summary

PENN Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a nighttime janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness of casino floors and public areas. This role focuses on carpet cleaning, floor care, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.

Initial pay is $17.00 per hour with a 10:30pm–7:00am shift. The company offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package including medical coverage after day one, a 401(k) match, and paid time off according to policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Has held a position as cleaner, or equivalent.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax.
• Working knowledge of Heavy Duty equipment.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Ensures appropriate chemicals are used when cleaning and mixes appropriate chemicals.
• Responsible for moving furniture and cleaning of assigned area.
• Maintains and cleans machines after use.
• Reports any problems to Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Mops, scrubs, rinses and polishes hard floors.
• Moves, rearranges and cleans furniture.
• Operates and controls all mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums.
• Recognizes and uses appropriate chemicals.
• Responsible for providing exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests.

Skills
