Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking an Overnight Floor Technician to join our housekeeping team. You will operate carpet shampooers and buffers, move furniture, and ensure floors are clean and safe for guests while delivering exceptional service.

This role works the 10:30pm–7:00am shift and contributes to a total rewards package including day-one medical coverage, 401(k) matching, and an annual performance bonus. A high school diploma and janitorial experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Janitorial/cleaning experience preferred.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Mix and use appropriate chemicals.
• Move furniture and clean assigned area.
• Maintain and clean machines after use.
• Report problems to Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Mop, scrub, rinse and polish hard floors.
• Move, rearrange and clean furniture.
• Operate rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums.
• Recognize and use appropriate chemicals.
• Provide exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests.

Responsibilities

Pay: $17.00 per hour | Shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am

An Overnight Floor Technician

• Operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
• Ensures appropriate chemicals are used when cleaning and mixes appropriate chemicals.
• Responsible for moving furniture and cleaning of assigned area.
• Maintains and cleans machines after use.
• Reports any problems to Environmental Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Mops, scrubs, rinses and polishes hard floors.
• Moves, rearranges and cleans furniture.
• Operates and controls all mechanical equipment including rotary machines, blowers and back vacuums.
• Recognizes and uses appropriate chemicals.
• Responsible for providing exceptional Red Carpet Customer Service to all guests.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Previous janitorial experience preferred.
• Has held a position as cleaner, or equivalent.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of chemicals, shampoos, strippers, and wax preferred.
• Working knowledge of Heavy Duty equipment.
• Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
