Job summary

Quad/Graphics in Spartanburg, SC is seeking an experienced Flexographic Press Operator to join the manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and operating flexographic printing equipment to produce high‑quality labels and packaging, while ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the production process.

Prior experience with flexographic presses is required, with Mark Andy P5 experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience operating flexographic printing presses is required.
• Experience on Mark Andy P5 presses is highly preferred.
• Able to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic printing presses per job specs.
• Review job tickets and confirm materials, inks, and substrates.
• Monitor press performance; adjust for print quality and efficiency.
• Maintain ink, paper, and material levels.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Complete quality inspections and production documentation.
• Compare samples to specs and remove non-conforming product.
• Perform line clearance for next job.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Follow safety policies, quality standards, PPE rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
