VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Fishers, IN, seeks a Registered Veterinary Technician for the Overnight/3rd shift to support our Emergency and Critical Care Service. Starting wages range from $24–$30 per hour, depending on license, skills and experience, with opportunities for financial growth.

The role involves triage, venipuncture, medication administration, ICU monitoring, client education, and collaborative care with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality emergency services.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (CVT) or internship trained.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced and often high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage: Perform an initial assessment to evaluate the patient's condition quickly.
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Medication administration and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Team collaboration with technical staff to ensure hospitalized patients receive optimal care.
• Vigilant ICU monitoring and reporting concerns during rounds.
• Provide clear discharge instructions to clients.
