Burleson Animal Emergency Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our 24-hour emergency-only team. You will perform triage, anesthesia monitoring, lab work, radiology, and assist in surgeries in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Strong venipuncture and IV catheter placement skills.
• Experience with triage and prioritizing emergency patients.
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical technician experience.
• Accurate medical record documentation and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient emergency care.
• Patient assessments and treatments; record documentation.
• Laboratory and diagnostic procedures; radiology use.
• Medication administration and drug calculations.
• Surgical preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
• Support veterinarians and team members; maintain care areas.
