Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a hazardous waste driver to travel on your assigned route, packing, transporting and disposing of waste material in line with our environmental policies. You will represent our commitment to clients, regulators and families while adhering to safety standards.

You will rotate for overnight work on neighbor islands, averaging 3–5 overnights per cycle, with paid hotel expenses and a nightly per diem; overtime is mandatory, with EST OT hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations on your assigned route to pack, transport and dispose of waste per policy.
• Demonstrate commitment to the environment, customers, regulators and families.
• Be in rotation for overnight work on neighbor islands.
• Overtime may be required; some weekend work.
