Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager for our Philadelphia-area plant. You will plan, supervise and optimize maintenance and engineering activities to ensure safety, quality and efficiency across operations.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial settings, strong electrical and PLC skills, and familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and SAP. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of supervisory experience in industrial operations, maintenance or utilities.
Knowledge in electrical wiring, motor control, PLC; equipment repair and installation.
Electrical troubleshooting is desired; PLC and networking devices knowledge a plus.
SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Ensure plant facility and equipment are maintained to standards.
Assist Maintenance Manager or Superintendent in assigned duties.
Plan, assign and supervise engineering personnel on the shift.
Train new employees per established training programs and procedures.
Supervise and/or participate in repair and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Read, understand and implement schematics and drawings.
Maintain good employee relations.
Promote safety programs and ensure safe operating procedures.
Ensure work areas are cleaned and organized during shifts.
Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, Safety, etc.).
Perform other duties as assigned.
