After Hour Animal Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas is looking for a compassionate Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role involves triaging and stabilizing emergency patients, monitoring vitals, and assisting with procedures. Preferred candidates should be licensed veterinary technicians or experienced veterinary assistants. Qualifications

• Experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician preferred.
• Emergency, ICU, or emergency experience a plus.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overnights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize emergency and critical patients.
• Assist with emergency exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients' vitals and condition changes.
• Perform diagnostics including lab work and radiographs.
• Place IV catheters and administer medications.

Skills

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) preferred

Strong multitasking and communication skills

Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to lift and restrain animals safely
