Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare’s After Hour Animal Hospital in North Little Rock, AR is hiring an Emergency Veterinary Technician for full-time or part-time overnight shifts. You’ll work with emergency veterinarians on urgent, trauma, and critical cases, gaining hands-on experience in emergency medicine and end-to-end patient care.

We offer competitive pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, and relocation stipends for out-of-state candidates.

Qualifications

• Certification as a veterinary technician preferred; experience in veterinary practice is REQUIRED.
• ER/ICU or emergency experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Triage and stabilize emergency and critical patients.
• Assist with emergency exams, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor hospitalized patients (vital signs, pain, condition changes).
• Perform diagnostics including lab work and radiographs.
• Place IV catheters, administer fluids and medications, provide oxygen therapy.
• Maintain accurate medical records and support client communication.
