Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our emergency overnight team. The role supports anesthesia, triage, radiography, and critical care in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule: 3x12s with competitive hourly pay ($21.00–$42.00) plus shift differentials. Benefits include CE support, health insurance, and progressive growth within the BluePearl network. Applicants must be able to work nights and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia using anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
• Triage emergency cases upon arrival and record vitals (temp, heart rate, resp rate, BP).
• Perform digital radiography with proper patient positioning.
• Monitor normal ranges for vitals and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Proficiently perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
