Job summary

Los Angeles Animal Specialty, Emergency & Rehabilitation (LAASER) in Los Angeles, CA, seeks an Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic ER and critical care team. You will triage, diagnose, stabilize, and treat incoming emergencies while communicating with pet owners and maintaining comprehensive medical records.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
• Successfully completed Veterinary Internship Program.
• Strong clinical skills and confidence in emergency procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Triage emergency cases and diagnose.
• Stabilize and manage in-patients and treat emergencies.
• Perform emergency procedures and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with medical team on treatment plans.
• Communicate diagnoses, options, and prognosis to pet owners.
• Maintain accurate, thorough medical records.
