Job summary

Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Overnight) - Redmond, WA is open at Veterinary Emergency Group. You will triage, treat emergencies, assist with anesthesia and monitoring, and provide compassionate support to pet parents during stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) required; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia is a plus.
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software familiarity.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure.
• Able to stand for prolonged hours and lift up to 25 kg (40 kg with assistance).
• Willing to work nights, weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Able to work in a noisy environment with strong odors.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide emotional support to pet parents and families.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver gold-standard care.
• Perform CPR when needed and participate in ongoing RECOVER CPR training.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, sample collection and tube placement.
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as needed (central lines, endoscopy, ultrasounds).
