Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Washington or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by conducting examinations and interviews, reviewing care plans and records, and performing diagnostic tests
• Care for patients by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, vaccines, and wound care
• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgeries, prepare and sterilize equipment
• Maintain accurate medical records and document patient progress and treatments
• Communicate clearly with pet owners about patient status and care plans
• Follow safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards to maintain a humane environment
