Veterinary Emergency Group in Denver, CO is hiring an Overnight Emergency Veterinary Assistant at the Denver Tech Center. You will support the ER team from triage to treatments, and learn alongside credentialed technicians and veterinarians.

The role emphasizes growth pathways, CPR training, and exposure to anesthesia, ultrasound, and catheterization through guided programs. Nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program a plus.
• 1+ years in a veterinary assistant role (emergency or specialty a bonus).
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Be the first warm welcome and triage incoming patients.
• Assist with treatments, nursing care, and diagnostics.
• Set up and monitor anesthesia and sedation with team.
• Manage IV fluids, blood products, and meds.
• Support both outpatient and inpatient care across areas.
