Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) is seeking a Direct Support Professional for Harmony House in Muscatine, IA. This overnight, awake role supports adults with disabilities and requires compassion, reliability and strong rapport with clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Supported Community Living (SCL) or with people with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, assistance and instruction to adults needing 24-hour support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals with disabilities and their families.
• Assist with personal cares (diaper/brief changes, feeding, toileting, transfers) as needed.
