Job summary

PUPS is seeking overnight attendants to care for dogs during the night shift at our Chicago facility. Responsibilities include supervising groups of dogs, feeding, administering medications, and keeping a safe, clean environment.

You will work 9pm-5am or 10pm-6am, with base pay $18-$19 per hour, PTO and sick time; must have a high school diploma and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in dependently and at times stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising groups of dogs.
• Clean-up after dogs and sanitizing areas.
• Preparing meals.
• Preparing and administering medications.
• Accurately and consistently tracking and logging feedings, medication administration.
• General club maintenance and cleaning.
• Reporting health concerns to other members of the team (Member Services).
• Adhering to safety protocols.
• Communicating effectively with members.
• Conducting yourself in a manner that is in the best interest of members and PUPS team members.
• Representing PUPS in a professional, and positive manner.
