You will operate forklifts and manual tools, read shipping labels, and follow DOT guidelines to maintain safety and on-time deliveries.

The role requires staying physically active, lifting up to 100 lbs, standing and walking for long shifts, and working in a fast-paced environment with teammates across the service

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and transport freight safely
• Experience with freight handling and loading techniques (tight loading, cross loading)
• Knowledge of shipping documents and freight movement forms
• Ability to monitor shipment locations using yard management systems
• Must be available to work various shifts to meet customer schedules

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight on trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually per DOT guidelines
• Transport freight throughout the service center
• Read and interpret shipping labels and forms
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets and straps
• Ensure the quality loading of all trailers
• Maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with service center personnel to meet schedules
