Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is hiring a Direct Support Professional for overnight shifts at Gallagher Services in Sparks Glencoe, MD. The role focuses on assisting adults with developmental disabilities to live independently with dignity and personalized support.

You will work Monday to Thursday, 11 PM–9 AM, delivering care, building relationships, and advocating for participants’ rights while maintaining accurate records and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience and no more than 3 points.
• Completion of Medication Technician Training Program (or willingness to complete).

Responsibilities

• Help with daily routines and personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
• Cook nutritious meals for participants.
• Keep clear, respectful records to ensure continuity of care and support.
• Assist with activities and transportation as needed.
• Provide compassionate support and advocacy for participants’ rights.
