Job summary

Bristol Adult Resource Center (BARC) is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the overnight shift to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a Residential Group Home. The role focuses on care, safety, personal growth, and documentation, with opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive nonprofit setting.

The 11:15pm–9:15am shift covers 40 hours per week. No prior experience required; training including CPR and medication certification is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to meet minimum requirements and transport individuals.
• CPR, PMT and Medication certifications will be provided or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide learning opportunities and support for independence aligned with individual goals.
• Transport individuals to and from programs and activities.
• Administer medications and treatments per guidelines with accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment that protects rights and confidentiality.
• Obtain and keep required certifications and trainings (in person and online).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
