Job summary

Synova Group in Nisswa, MN is seeking an Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults in a crisis group home. You will work overnight, 7 days on / 7 days off, with a focus on stabilization and safety, following trained care plans and procedures.

The role involves assisting with daily routines, health and safety, documentation, and providing transportation and crisis support as needed.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Access to insured vehicle.
• Successfully pass a DHS background study.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in homes and communities to reach personal goals and maintain independence.
• Assist with daily routines, personal care, and community activities.
• Support health and safety needs, money management, and behavior support strategies.
• Administer medications according to training and procedures.
• Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
• Document services and events using online documentation systems.
• Encourage independence while providing appropriate support.
