McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Assistant in Corpus Christi, TX. This fast-paced, hands-on role provides direct support to a McLane Delivery Driver; you will not drive the truck, but you will lift, unload, and place items safely, while representing the company to customers.

You’ll need good customer service skills, safety awareness, and the ability to read and follow instructions. The position offers full-time hours, an overnight shift, and access to comprehensive benefits as part of

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Lift and move product and pallets up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for safety and job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or 2-wheeled dolly.
• Place all delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver's efforts to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.
