McLane Company, Inc. in Austell, GA is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support our Delivery Driver. This is a physical, fast-paced position; you will not drive the truck and will be bending, lifting, and walking daily. You’ll represent the company to customers with strong service skills.

You will unload trailers, place items in food-safe storage, assist with on-time deliveries, and work safely to prevent injuries. Benefits start on day 60, including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Lift and move product and pallets up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires reading, writing, and understanding English at a level sufficient to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailer using a hand truck or dolly.
• Place delivery items in customer-designated food-safe storage areas.
• Assist the Driver to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and product damage.
• Other duties as assigned.
