Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed (Badge Verification) in Mesa, AZ to safeguard clients across tech data centers and facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service.

This full-time role includes night shifts, a $24.10/hour pay rate, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver’s license.
Guard card or license preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing requirements may vary by state.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
Support the protection of critical infrastructure and confidential operations by following established protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, escorts, and contractor access.
