Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, manage stock and ensure product integrity. You will support merchandising, inventory, and food safety standards while delivering excellent service to Members.

This role helps keep the perishables team organized and efficient. Responsibilities include planogram integrity, cold chain maintenance, FIFO rotation, and accurate signage.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dairy and freezer planograms to ensure visual standards and consistent member experience.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy to ensure freshness and availability.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Conduct regular quality and date checks to uphold food safety standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and clean storage areas.
• Monitor dairy and freezer in-stock levels and assist with replenishment.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing for smooth checkout operations.
• Support seasonal merchandising initiatives and club goals.
• Comply with company policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance to support operations.
